A site that is fast on their laptop
And seven seconds on the phone a homeowner is holding in their driveway. Google’s research says over half of mobile visitors leave after three. They did not reject your work. They never saw it.

You already know it. Their site is worse, their crew is worse, and they are getting the calls. Put your address in. I run Google’s own speed test on the phone version of your site, free, and show you what the wait is costing you a month.
No email to see your speed. If it’s fast, I say so.

Your name and an email. The dollar figure appears right here, with every step of the arithmetic, and the written version goes to your inbox.
What the wait is costing
Adjust the assumptions
I started with figures typical of a single-location business. Yours are better. Drag and the number moves with you.
Sets the conversion slider to that industry’s median (Ruler Analytics, 2026). Move the slider yourself and this goes back to Custom.
On a shared screen, your site next to the two competitors beating you, and a straight answer: one afternoon of work, or a rebuild. Plenty of them are the afternoon. If I can help, I’ll tell you what it costs. You keep the notes either way.

Your trade, specifically
Pick your trade. Each page has your season, the real Google numbers for Berks County, what the last agency did to you, and what I do instead.
One kitchen pays for a year of marketing. Why the phone still is not ringing.
See your trade’s page →Nobody Googles a cabinet shop. They Google you, after the referral.
See your trade’s page →March to June is the whole year. Ranking in July is ranking for nothing.
See your trade’s page →Searches go up ten times from December to April. Be there when it turns.

A nice office, a sharp sales team, a twelve-month contract, and a report every month that never says how many people called.
And seven seconds on the phone a homeowner is holding in their driveway. Google’s research says over half of mobile visitors leave after three. They did not reject your work. They never saw it.
The agency puts you on Google Ads at $10 to $88 a click because ads bill monthly. The three businesses in the map pack get the same click free, and the ranking is still there in month thirteen.
Sessions, impressions, “engagement.” Nowhere on it: how many people called, how many booked, which town the jobs came from.
The person who sold you is not the person doing the work, and the person doing the work has forty accounts and has never been to Berks County.
How this is different
Marine, Reading-based, custom-codes the site myself, and you deal with me directly. If it is slow, wrong, or not producing, you call me and I fix it.
Your portal shows the two numbers that matter, month over month, with the search and town that produced each one.
Domain, site, Google profile, every login. Yours from day one, in writing. Ninety days on the system, then month to month. Ask your current agency who owns the domain and watch the pause.
What the searches are worth
Six of the searches Berks County homeowners type every month, and what Google charges per click to sit at the top of them. The map pack and page one get the same clicks for free.
| Search (Berks County) | Searches / mo | Google Ads cost per click |
|---|---|---|
| “plumbers near me” | 1000 | $19–$73 |
| “electricians near me” | 480 | $11–$42 |
| “painters near me” | 390 | $10–$57 |
| “roofers near me” | 320 | $18–$53 |
| “hvac near me” | 320 | $16–$69 |
| “landscapers near me” | 260 | $2.99–$15 |

Plain pricing
Published because you should not have to sit through a pitch to find out. The system asks for 90 days, the same 90 days I guarantee, then it is month to month. Two onboardings a month, and the rate rises with each case study.
$1,200 + $99/mo hosting
Your existing site made fast on a phone and wired to convert: click-to-call, tracking, the fixes from your teardown. Done in a week.
$2,000–$6,000
Custom-coded for speed, one page per service and town, your photos right-sized. You approve the home page on your phone before I build the rest.
$2,000/mo
Google profile takeover, rankings for your towns, review engine, calls answered when you can’t pick up, and your own portal that shows calls and booked jobs instead of impressions. Ninety days to start, then month to month.
For calls this month while the rankings build: Google Search, Local Services Ads and Facebook/Instagram. $750 a month covers ad budgets up to $5,000; above that it is 15% of spend. Your ad spend goes straight to Google and Meta, on your card, in accounts in your name. I report cost per call and per booked job, not clicks. Ads alone, without the system, are $750 setup + $1,000/mo. How paid ads work.
Who you are dealing with
I am Nate Taylor. I run Pagoda Web Co. from Reading, PA, and I build every site myself. There's no sales team, no account rep and no junior in another state.
Before this I spent years as a personal trainer and a manual therapist, two trades where nobody hires you from a brochure. They hire you because the first thing they see of you, before you have said a word, tells them you are worth the call: how you present, how clearly you explain, whether you look like someone who shows up. I built a full book of clients on that, and it taught me what every trade owner already knows in their gut. The work wins the referral. Presentation wins the stranger. Your website is your presentation to every stranger who will ever search your trade in Berks County, and my job is to make sure it wins.
If your site is slow, wrong, or not producing, you call me and I fix it. That is the whole org chart.
Custom-coded, not a template. That's why the sites are fast and stay fast.
A scoreboard, not a report. Your portal shows calls and booked jobs, month over month, and the searches that produced them.
Your name on everything: domain, hosting, Google profile, every login. Leave any time and take it all.
Straight answers
Because ranking gets you the visit and speed gets you the call. Google’s own research says half of mobile visitors leave once a page takes more than three seconds.
Then run the check anyway and keep the number. When the contract ends you will know exactly what you were paying for. Most contracts also have a non-performance exit; bring yours to the teardown and I will read it with you, no charge. A report with no call count is usually the evidence.
Nobody honest can guarantee a Google position. What I guarantee is time-backed: calls and booked jobs up by day 90 or I keep working free for up to 60 more days, and you keep every asset either way.
Not yet in the trades, and I will not borrow one. I can show you my own sites passing the test you just ran, a Berks wellness client at 8 of 8 target searches on page one, and the arithmetic behind your number. The first two in each trade become the case studies and get the early price.
A speed and conversion Tune-Up on your existing site is $1,200 plus $99 a month hosting. A rebuild is $2,000 to $6,000 depending on pages and photos, and the local-search system that fills the calendar is $2,000 a month. The system asks for 90 days, the same 90 days I guarantee, then it is month to month. You keep every asset, and the rate goes up with each case study, so early clients lock the early price. Paid ads are an add-on to the system: Google (Search and Local Services Ads) and Facebook/Instagram, $500 setup, then $750 a month for ad budgets up to $5,000 and 15% of spend above that. Your ad spend goes straight to Google and Meta, on your card, in accounts in your name. Without the system, ads on their own are $750 setup and $1,000 a month.

Run the check. If your site is fast, I will tell you and point you at what actually matters. If it is not, you will know what it costs before you spend a dollar.
