For landscapers · Berks County

Searches for landscapers go up ten times from December to April. Be there when it turns.

“Landscapers near me” across Berks is 50 searches in December, 480 in March and 590 in April. Those are the homeowners who decide in one week who cuts, mulches and plants for the whole year. Put your address in and see whether your site is ready to be found when they look.

No email to see your speed. If it’s fast, I say so.

The last twelve months

You know this story.

Every March it is the same week. The ground thaws, the phone starts, and for ten days you are booking spring cleanups, mulch, and the maintenance contracts that carry the trucks through November. The homeowners you sign that week are yours for the year. The ones you miss sign with somebody else for the year.

Two years ago you hired an agency because the company with the wrapped trucks had one. They built you a site with a drone video on the home page, put you on ads, and sent a report every month with a graph that went up. You paid $1,500 a month plus whatever Google took per click. Your phone rang a little more in April, and you could never tell whether that was the ads or the weather.

This spring you noticed something. The searches you wanted — your towns, “landscaping,” “lawn care” — showed three businesses in the map pack and you were not one of them. The agency said it was “a competitive market” and suggested raising the ad budget.

Here is what nobody measured: that drone video makes your site take nine seconds to load on a phone in a yard. The homeowner in March does not wait nine seconds for anyone. She is on to the next name, and the next name is in the map pack.

What it is costing you

What it is actually costing a landscaper.

In contracts, not sessions. A maintenance account is $100 to $200 a month for the season and a full install is $3,000 to $16,000; one week in March decides which ones are yours, and your site either loads for it or it does not.

01

The March week you were not fast for

Google’s own research: over half of mobile visitors leave once a page takes more than three seconds. In the ten days that decide your season, a nine-second site is invisible. Not ranked lower. Invisible.

02

A twelve-month contract for a four-month season

The agency bills you in December when 50 people are searching, and in April when 590 are, at the same rate. Ads in December buy nothing. Ads in March buy clicks at up to $16 apiece that the map pack gets free.

03

“Landscaping” when you meant “lawn care”

You want maintenance contracts. The agency ranked you for design-build searches, because those were in the template. Thirty people a month across Berks search “landscape design.” Ninety search “lawn care near me” — 260 in March — and it costs $6 to $18 a click. Nobody asked you which one pays the trucks.

04

A report that cannot tell you where to send the third crew

Impressions and sessions. Not: fourteen calls in April, nine for maintenance, six of them in Exeter. You are deciding on a third truck from a feeling.

Job costs: HomeGuide 2026 (landscaping maintenance $100–$200 per month; mowing $30–$85 per visit; landscaping a new house $3,000–$15,950)

How this is different

One person. Your assets. Two numbers that matter.

Instead

Rankings you own, ready before March

The map pack and page one for your towns and your real services, built in the off-season and held. The clicks are free in March whether or not you spent money in February.

Instead

Calls by town and service, not impressions

Your portal shows calls and booked estimates, and which searches and towns produced them. You will know if Exeter is worth the third crew before you buy it.

Instead

One person who answers the phone

Marine, Reading-based, builds the site myself. When your March week hits and something is off, you get me, not a ticket number.

What the searches are worth

Every click your competitor gets free, Google would happily sell you.

That spike is why the work has to be done in winter. Google takes 60 to 90 days to trust a page. Fixed in December, ranking in March. Fixed in March, ranking in June, for the leftovers.

Who you are dealing with

Marine. Reading, PA. Answers his own phone.

I am Nate Taylor. I run Pagoda Web Co. from Reading, PA, and I build every site myself — no sales team, no account rep, no junior in another state.

Before this I spent years as a personal trainer and a manual therapist — two trades where nobody hires you from a brochure. They hire you because the first thing they see of you, before you have said a word, tells them you are worth the call: how you present, how clearly you explain, whether you look like someone who shows up. I built a full book of clients on that, and it taught me what every trade owner already knows in their gut. The work wins the referral. Presentation wins the stranger. Your website is your presentation to every stranger who will ever search your trade in Berks County, and my job is to make sure it wins.

If your site is slow, wrong, or not producing, you call me and I fix it. That is the whole org chart.

What you get with that

Custom-coded, not a template — which is why the sites are fast and stay fast.

A scoreboard, not a report — your portal shows calls and booked jobs, month over month, and the searches that produced them.

Your name on everything — domain, hosting, Google profile, every login. Leave any time and take it all.

Straight answers

The questions landscapers actually ask.

It is September. Is it too late for next spring?

No — it is exactly on time. Start now, and the site is fast and trusted before the March week. Start in February and you have paid for a season you will not rank for.

I get all my work from referrals and the truck wrap.

Keep both. The map pack is the referral you do not have to ask for: a homeowner who has already decided to hire someone, typing the words, in your town, in March. Referrals fill the calendar; search fills it during the one week that matters.

I am under contract with an agency until spring.

Then run the check anyway and keep the number. When the contract ends you will know exactly what you were paying for. Most contracts also have a non-performance exit; bring yours to the teardown and I will read it with you, no charge. A report with no call count is usually the evidence.

Do you have landscaping clients I can call?

Not yet, and I will not pretend otherwise. I can show you my own sites passing the test you just ran, a Berks wellness client at 8 of 8 target searches on page one, and the arithmetic behind your number. The first landscaper is the case study and gets the early price.

What does it cost?

A speed and conversion Tune-Up on your existing site is $1,200 plus $99 a month hosting. A rebuild is $1,500 to $3,500 depending on pages and photos, and the local-search system that fills the season runs from $650 a month. The system asks for 90 days — the same 90 days I guarantee — then it is month to month. You keep every asset, and the rate goes up with each case study — so early clients lock the early price.

Thirty seconds now, or a slow March.

Run the check. If your site is fast, I will say so and show you where the calls are actually leaking. If it is not, you will know the number before the season does.
